Here we go for another pack!

This time all these guys are new around here. I wanted to bring fresh artists with their latest tapes. Everyday there are a lot of new mixes coming out. This pack is very smooth, but also contains a lot of different music genres. I have decided to bring new and “old stuff”. From the 80′s trough the 90′s until nowadys. We have disco, nu disco, chillwave, synth pop…

Starting with Cuetec, which we have already talked about, he has been making monthly tapes. His style goes around lounge and downtempo. Very useful tape to listen while you are at work or just to chill. His music reminds me a lot my adolescence. I used to be addicted to this music genre.

Sorcerer has also his place here. I met his music trough Valerie blog. I really love his 80′s feeling. You will find adorable sounds here. Most part of them i have never heard before. I love this thing of discovering new music. However i think i need to my playlist. My pc is really a big mess. I have thousands of mixtapes, most part of them with no tracklist.

Dan Alcala is also appearing here for the first time. I loved his mix. He has a lot of oldies that i love. That’s the main reason why i’m posting his tape. With Miss Kittin on it, i could never leave this one behind. I also dig his remixes and some stuff he has on his soundcloud. Don’t forget to visit him for more music. For sure you are going to be surprised!

Gigamesh is so HUGE. A new EP is out there for you to buy and he has also released this mixtape. I’m so in love with his music. I can’t wait to play it in Oporto. His latest work is absolutely brilliant. We are planning to make a review of it. Stay tuned!

Finally a massive tape by SBTRKT. Chillwave all over the place. Strange and dark music, but always with style. Amazing this mixtape. This is one of those everyone should listen. Since he released it, i’ve been listening to this on repeat mode. It’s 2 hours full of amazing music with an awesome playlist. What else can i say? Download it, before it’s too late.

I have decided not to talk about any track or artist in particular. Like this i think i’m being the most honest and impartial as possible. I could say i prefer this or that track, but i won’t. I’m very happy with all tracks and i have listened to them on repeat mode for days. Just to mention that the Moonlight Matters remix is from 2009. Seba’s gently gave us, because he doesn’t have time to make a new one. We also have a track from Alexandre Louvré that is not featuring in the artwork, because we had a “comunication” problem.

This post probably should have been written in the beginning of Summer, or maybe the timing is just perfect, who knows….

Michael Färber more known as Cuetec comes from Germany and he produces the sweetest music ever. With 25 years old his music strolls around deep and soulful. Yesterday we had the most honest chat on Facebook. Michael told me his music basically is the result of his emotions and reflects his view of the world and the community he lives. If you listen to his tracks you would say he has a perfect life and lives in the perfect world, unfortunately…. it’s not always like this.

I’m talking about a person that has a normal life like everyone. He works hard because he has a family to supply, but his passion for music gives him an extra effort to produce these beautiful melodies. Michael has been producing for about 5 years. He also told me that now he has been started to be booked and he has been playing in local bars, which makes me very happy to see he is starting to do what he really loves.

I’m pretty sure if he was making his stuff like 10 years ago among with people such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Nightmares On Wax, dZihan & Kamien or even Fila Brazillia he would be as great as they are. Time has changed and people nowadays probably are more crazy and don’t have time to listen sweet music, but Cuetec definitely is on my playlist, practically everyday.
