London based producer Ross Tones, aka Throwing Snow, has just dropped a new remix of Max Cooper‘s excellent single “Origins.” The piece is taken from Cooper’s latest five-tract Kindred EP, which includes two original tracks, one extended version of “Origins,” and two remixes by Throwing Snow and David August, also for the single “Origins.” Both original tracks from the EP were written as centerpieces of Emergence, the audiovisual show Max recently premièred at Decibel Festival in Seattle, and Bozar in Brussels. This show will tour throughout 2015, and was described by Sean Horton, Decibel’s hugely influential booker, as “The most beautiful and stunning display of talent and technology we have ever hosted”. Tones’ reinterpretation of the single couldn’t sound more proper and clean. The remix starts with a beautiful sound line of elliptical bubbling sounds, which is followed with a statical background bassline and small appointments from Kathrin de Boer’s hypnotizing vocals. “Kindred” is available on iTunes since December 1. The perfect soundtrack for the season that we’re passing by!
