Normally, during the week when we are searching for new tunes we always end up stumbling across smooth and sweet pieces that are just perfect as Sunday soundtrack. We always try to post music from less known musicians because it’s our duty as bloggers to discover the unknown, and also to support the music we find it’s relevant and appropriate to share with you. Well, just scroll down for more info/download, and enjoy your holy day in peace!
HOLY SOUNDAY – CHAPTER 13 – DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE SET HERE ///
A couple weeks ago we came across by outstanding single titled “Nothing Left To Give,” which is the result of a collaboration between Kyle Woods & Ryne Estwing. We loved so much this track that we even uploaded on YouTube. Since we don’t have too many followers over there, here’s another shout for those who missed it.
“Home” is taken from Portland’s experimental producer Malcom Lacey, aka Arrange, upcoming album titled “Their Bodies in a Fog” to be released on March 4. The single is pure blissful to our ears! We’re particular in love for the vocal tone, which suits perfectly with instrumental progression. Everything about this piece sounds good, uplifting, and it has been on repeat for quite some time now. Make sure to download your copy, and follow this link to stream the entire album. Truly amazing!
OBESØN (pronounced Obey-Son) is an interesting project from Canadian producer Meshach Gordon (not sure if it’s his real name). Last week we received a newsletter about his latest single “I Need You To Need Me,” and we have to admit that it has been on repeat. We’re honestly impressed with the work he did on sampling Lykke Li’s “I Need You To Need Me,” which takes the vocal into an intriguing and ambiguous ambient full of dark and shinning soundscapes. It’s really impressive that despite being an unknown producer for almost everyone, this track has been widely blogged around the blogosphere. So good!
We have previously shared many tracks from Berlin producer, kyson. This time he remixed an interesting single called “Where The Light is,” which is taken from the remixed album from Australian newcomer Oisima. The whole album is available as free download on his bandcamp. Once again, kyson shows is immense talent and delivers a beautiful piece that instantly grabbed our attention due it’s smooth and luscious ambiance. We’re honestly excited to see how the year will run for one of our favorite producers from 2014.
We don’t know much about the French producer Ghost Town, but we do know that his debut “Memories” EP has been on loop for the last couple days. “Memories” is also the leading single from the set, which primes for an incredible funky bassline, paring perfectly with an irreproachable drum kit. Definitely someone that you might hear more about in the future!
