Golden Scissors

Thank gods it’s Monday. Sometimes this is absolutely true, and this is one of the days, as we bring you Psychemagik‘s new remix for a new project called Quentin Quatro. And apart from the 70’s italo disco influenced sound that makes for the original “Disco Quatro”, the first release of newborn Brooklyn label Insect Queen, there isn’t much information on the artist itself. But I think we’ll get more information soon, because we foresee a bright future for this project.
As for Psychemagik’s remix, well, it’s another great production work. They capture the distinctive synth sounds of the original and make it their own, releasing that seductive Italian vocal as breakers that flow through the ups and downs of the song, along of course with their signature beat sound. It is a club oriented version, sure to be getting on some sets of the top dj’s in a disco near you.
The full release comes along with remixes from Sleazy Mcqueen and Space Coast and is available to buy at Juno, here.
