“What if one of the biggest party tunes of the year doesn’t fit in your sets? You make your own version”. This is the premise of Kraver‘s new work. It’s been a while since we featured the Dutch duo, with their 80’s style, here. To serve as a reminder you can catch up with our reviews of their awesome single “Supermoon” here, or the partnership with NSFW on “Startruck” here, and listen to the superb remix which almost made it into our tracks of 2012 by NSFW of “Supermoon” here.
Everybody knows by now that we’re big fans of 80’s electronic revival and this is a good example of how to do it. As referenced by the boys themselves, the idea is simple, sometimes you find a song that doesn’t quite fit into the sets but you still feel it’s to good not to, so they pick up on it and make their own version. Ninetoes “Finder” is a house tune with a summer feel splashed all over it, and a good one at it, but Kraver sought their own take and deliver a huge 80’s retrofitted synth and bassline into the song, with just enough amount as not to change the emotional delivery of the original track. So grab this gem for free below, listen to the original after the jump, and don’t forget to support the guys.
