Spanish producer Sau Poler just dropped a new remix of Favored Nations‘s tune “Blame Game.” Despite being only the first time we’re featuring the Barcelona-based producer, we’ve been following his work for quite some time now. His latest “A Soundless Echo” EP released in April gained some fair attention all over the blogosphere, and honestly, we regret not to have shared it at the time. The new work is taken from the Los Angeles/Australian trio debut EP called “Blame Game” |stream it here| released recently via etcetc. Favored Nations is a side project and alter ego used by James Curd, Morgan Phalen, and Surahn Sidhu to share their smooth pop sound. It’s quite interesting to see how this project involves people from different continents, and the result is still great! Sau Poler’s redemption couldn’t be more exciting! He completely reinvents the original single, adding his personal signature with an “elastic” bass line together with an excellent percussion work, that will develop along the piece almost giving the idea it is being dropped without many “concerns.” The vocal game is equally very well designed, denoting an interesting deconstruction with “mini vocal cuts.” Make sure to grab below your free copy of this work, and watch the video of the original single after the jump!
