Golden Scissors

Writing about music nowadays is becoming more difficult than ever. It’s like swimming in an ocean full of amazing sounds being delivered everyday. Sometimes I feel completely forceless, because I want to write a good review about a piece, but at the same time there’s not much time available, basically, because I’m already thinking about the next track I want to share with you. It’s all about time……
A couple minutes ago, London born Vienna-based producer SOHN, shared a new piece titled “Bloodflows.” In case it’s first time you’re facing SOHN’s music, you should at least listen to his magical single “The Wheel” |listen here|. The new single follows the same methodology of his previous release. Why change a formula that is already amazing? You might become a little septic about the beginning of this single, but it will grow on you whereas the sound keeps in progression on the player. The track starts with a simple piano-line together with a clean angelic vocal. You will feel the instrumental arrangement giving body to the whole piece with an interesting drummed up progression. Around 2:28 there’s a change of rhythm together with a  cool pitched up micro vocal samples, which will make you repeat this part, literally, on repeat mode. Absolutely brilliant.
