Golden Scissors

Australian duo Flight Facilities have been unstoppable lately! They keep delivering quality music and more important of all, they have been supporting other producers by including their edits in their mixtapes. I’m talking about Tim Fuchs’ edit of David Bowie’s “Golden Years” (…listen/download here…) and Rocco Raimundo’s edit for Lou Reed’s “Walk On The Wild Side” (…listen/download here…). About two weeks ago they also gave away a great edit of Walter Murphy’s “A Fifth Of Beethoven” (…listen/download here…). Today we’re glad to share with you another freebie! This time the duo is dropping their rework of Paul Simon’s “You Can Call Me Al” (1987 – Graceland LP) taken from their exclusive mix for “triple j Mix Up Exclusives: 1982-1992.” (…listen/download here…) As you already know, here at Golden Scissors we’re unconditional fans of the duo, and they totally deserve our love for everything they’ve been doing to keep the Disco feeling alive! I would say that it’s the least we can do while being just an humble blog. We feel that it’s our duty to share their music. Also, in case you missed the video they dropped last for this edit, just follow this link. Pure Gold.
