Portugal, Lisbon-based five-piece MAU are well known inside the country for their sedative Electro-pop. Without a doubt they’re one of the most interesting acts in Portugal, always detonating an alternative and refreshed image on the scene. They have been very active since 2006, releasing 3 Lp’s and several remixes for people such as Foster The People (…listen/download…) or We Trust (…listen/download…). Here’s their redemption of Leitbur‘s beautiful single “Think Of Tomorrow.” If you’re not familiarized with this L.A.-based duo, you should definitely check the original here. As usual MAU’s treatment is extremely creative, they drummed up the track on the intro, and added several distinct moments along this piece.They kept the original vocals, (why change something that is already perfect) added some sort of epicness surrounded by an interesting cinematographic atmosphere, which ends up with a second anxious build.
