Since I remember to listen and read about electronic music, I’ve always been fan of Valérie Collective. For sure you remember a couple years ago, there was an interesting movement of retro Synthpop music. At the time lot of people appeared and some of them are still very active. After the hype around the movie “Drive,” it has been interesting to see new generations discovering this particular electronic music movement. For me, there’s always a time to listen to College and all the others. I’ve decided to revisit “My Secret Romance,” which belongs to College 2008′ “Teenage Girl” EP. The synthesizer is the main character of this track, followed and filled by electronic elements, taking us into a nostalgic trip. Probably one of my all time favorite releases!
