After blogging several mixes from our friend Eduardo Del Pozo aka Light Spectrum, we asked him about the possibility of an exclusive mix for our blog, which immediately he accepted the challenge. One of the reasons of this mix, is mainly because it represents exactly our ideology about the music. Nowadays people “don’t” look for their “own” music, basically they follow names that we all know. Sometimes, while writing an article I feel a bit sad, because I know that not everyone is going to read it. Light Spectrum’s mix is an example of an excellent track selection from producers that totally deserves our attention and sometimes people don’t really notice they’re around. Obviously, we are aware that nowadays it’s really hard to make the difference and it’s equally hard to find new music because we don’t have time and probably it’s easier to follow certain artists, mostly, because we know they rarely miss in terms of quality.
About Eduardo Del Pozo’s there isn’t really too much to tell anymore. He’s definitely one of our favorites DJ’s and music selectors. We spend a lot of time talking about new releases and he’s always with something new and different to show me. This mix reveals his disco, cosmic, boogie and Italo influences.
