Now that I have some free time to listen the latest Xinobi‘s mix I can write what I think about it. Every time he drops a new mix, you know it’s not going to sound to any kind of top chart or something like that. His mixes always have story behind. This one for instance starts with Pink Floyd…. and keeps on taking us into the next chapter of “Love Boat”, so far, so good. I love that part at 21:52 and then the lyrics are hilarious. It’s something like this “It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s Superman”... and on and on… At 28:38 it’s one of my favourite parts! Crazy disco or something else that I don’t even know how to describe, which is perfect for a soundtrack! At 39:00 we have the “Yeke Yeke”, which is also the funniest moment of this tape. And the rest of this mix is absolutely brilliant. I’m not gonna even ask for a tracklist, because it’s not fair. I mean, this dude works a lot to find the perfect track for his mix and we can’t just tell him to give the tracklist. One more time, for me he’s the best DJ I’ve ever heard. Ahh… by the way. His next mix will include some stuff he’s about to release. For sure you don’t want to miss it!
P.S. After listening this mix, I don’t think I going to share the mix i’m working on. I’ve also tagged this as Epic!
