Chris Malinchak did it again…. looks like he simply doesn’t know how to make bad stuff. Another EP, with three different tracks, that the “only” thing they have in common is to be massive. This release trough the French Express is for sure everywhere, and just came to heat our Autumn….
The New Yorker Mr. Chris has been around our “world” for a long time. By the age of four he started his musical “journey” with classical piano, his incredible talent has grown over the years. He clearly has the skills, both musically and technically. However he jumped into the spotlight around 2009. Since then his releases have been highly consumed on repeat mode. It’s impossible to stay indifferent to his personal touch, balanced over Nu disco with a cachy funky groove that insists staying in my head for a long time. After his “Renaissance” EP with amazing tracks such as (youtube links) “The Fourth” or “Can’t Stop Loving You”, this time he presents us “Villete”, which is equally rich of disco house and smooth beats taking you on a journey that seems to be interrupted, making us assimilate these first three tracks.
First time i clicked play, the main idea i got was that probably something is about to follow this release, then i started to look for more info and saw this is a first part of a “history”, which is going to be released on December. These 3 tracks came to me on the right timing. Our Golden Scissors Blog Party & 40+1 is just some weeks to become a reality, for sure i will play this sweet music.
