From, Oporto, Portugal, Francisco Pereira is the man who gives life to KICKo. Probably you haven’t heard about him before, however by the age of 16 he was already playing in clubs all over the city. For professional reasons he had to stop for a couple of years, but now he is back. At the moment Francisco is in England to study sound engineering and musical production for 6 months. I guess he has surrendered himself to his dream. Thank God i found him. He has been feeding my ears almost every week with a new track.
Since we found his awesome music, we have been posting his tracks on Facebook. Every single time i do this, everyone loves his stuff. I’m included on this role!!! Sometimes i just open his soundcloud page and click play. It’s quite impressive his productions are becoming more consistent with delicious details. I mean, you don’t find a track that you dislike. Maybe you will prefer this or that one, but in the end you will say: “Damn this guy is really good!”.
About KICKo’s music, you can clearly feel his personal touch on his productions. Deeply influenced by the 80′s, Italo-Disco or even the late 90′s house, he has already found his way to make magic and addict your heart and soul. For sure when you listen his work, you will feel the “need” to keep on listening and downloading…. then you will look at your clock and notice you have passed an entire morning/afternoon/evening listening to his music. Just for fun, i usually tell my friends that i can make a Dj set just with his tracks.
Besides the exclusive mixtape he made for us, i decided to post also some of his stuff. I highly recommend you to visit his Soundcloud for more tracks and Facebook for some love. Believe me, he has a lot more freebies. If you are like me, you want to download everything to listen and re-listen. I honestly wish all the best to Francisco.
